I backed out this year from buying a property hoping that the home loan interest rates will come down. Will it come down?

Diwali is more just a months away, but the public sector banks are trying to instill the festive spirit and goad people to take loans. HDFC, Bank of Baroda and IDBI slashed Home loan rates. Australia's Wizard Home Loans entered the Indian market in joint venture with GE Money offering loans at 9.99 per cent only, thats a good news.

However, the largest lender of home loans, ICICI Bank is currently not looking at slashing rates.
