    I am working in a pvt. Co, earning good income. I want to buy an agricultural land in nearby village just for investment. Can I buy it. what are the formalities and procedures. What are the cheklists for the same to buy.

    Either you should have an existing agricultural land or your ancestors should have owned one. A proof is required which shows that you are from farmers background.
