    HI,
I HAVE DONE REGISTRATION OF A FLAT IN DOMBIVALI E ON 20TH DEC 07, ITS A RESALE FLAT. FLAT OWNER HAS ASKED ME THAT HE WILL VACANT THE FLAT IN THE MONTH OF MARCH 08. BUT ITS BEEN MORE THAN 4 MONTHS, HE IS STILL NOT GIVING ME POSSESSION. HE IS AGREED TO PAY ME RENT. BUT I WANT MY FLAT TO BE VACANT. SO THAT I CAN SETTLE WITH MY FAMILY IN THIS FLAT. HE IS INSISTING ON NOT TO VACANT THE FLAT. SHOULD I GO FOR A LEGAL ACTION? IF YES HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST ME? I AM NOT THAT MUCH FINANCIALLY STRONG TO PAY MUCH AMOUNT TO ADVOCATE. KINDLY SUGGEST WHAT SHOULD I DO? I AM IN GREAT DILEMMA.
    THANX
    ANUP

    Hello Anup,

Civil lawyer wont cost you as much as you think, discuss your case with a lawyer and ask him to issue a legal notice against your flat owner. Normally, legal notices works without fighting the case in court. I can understand, normal people usually dont want court matters and avoid getting into any legal hazzles, but your case is not much of a pain... :)
